OUR FARM
The family farm is located in the highlands of Santa Cruz, just a short drive from the Enchanted Galapagos Lodge, and sits upon approximately 100 acres of land. Here we grow a variety of organic local plants and produce, such as pineapples, papayas, avocados, coffee, cacao, bananas and much more. Plants flourish in the rich volcanic Galapagos soil and the cooler, moist climate of the highlands. Our harvests support the lodge, as well as the local community. Take a tour of our farm and discover the deep-rooted farm-to-table, family experience. Walk amongst the tropical plants of Galapagos and gaze upon the beautiful highland views of neighbouring islands.
OUR RESTAURANT + BAR
The restaurant, bar and fireside lounge are all located under one pavilion. Enjoy your thoughtfully prepared meals and drinks under the vaulted cedrella ceiling, with nearly 360 degree views of the surrounding tropical forest and grounds. Delight in authentic farm-to-table Ecuadorian cuisine, made with fresh, organic produce that is locally sourced from both our on-site garden as well as our family farm, creating rich tantalizing meals. The restaurant can seat up to 50 people in the pavilion, and up to 100 people total, including the outdoor lounges.
OUR CHEESE FACTORY
Nestled within the enchanting grounds of the Enchanted Galapagos Lodge, you’ll find our very own cheese factory Queso Chuequo (translation: Crooked Cheese), run by Tatjana Angermeyer (one of the proud owners of the Enchanted Galapagos Lodge), and her husband Dustin Kinakin. Here, they meticulously craft and age an array of cheeses and yogurts, each with its own unique character. Immerse yourself in a sensory delight as you partake in a cheese tasting experience, savoring the rich flavors and textures of their delectable creations.
